3、如在三年级进行《Little Red Riding Hood》故事教学时,因为三年学生刚刚开始接触英语,所认识的英语词汇非常缺乏,为了减低阅读难度,提高学习兴趣,笔者根据学生的已有知识,把童话故事改编成语言简单的剧本。在教学中,笔者根据学生的特点采取教师演绎故事的方式呈现剧本。简单的语言、神奇的童话色彩,加上笔者的倾情演出,紧紧抓住了学生的眼球,大大提高了学生的学习兴趣,增强了学生参与故事表演的欲望。在扮演故事中,每一个孩子都激情高涨,就连平时不爱讲话的同学都乐意起来扮演小鸟、小兔……每个孩子都从学习故事中享受英语带来的乐趣,在表演故事中体验成功的喜悦。

4、故事本身就是一个情境,故事中的情节,能够帮助学生理解单词词义、提高学习单词的效率。在进行英语童话故事教学时,我们把故事中一些常见的单词提取出来,让学生根据图片或者老师的动作、表情等提示来猜测单词的意思,并通过有趣的游戏进行巩固学习。如在《Little Red Riding Hood》案例中,笔者把文章中常用的单词如 bird、rabbit、wolf、hunter、forest 提炼出来,并让学生进行单词与图片配对活动,以此帮助学生明确单词的意思。在《Three Little Pigs》童话故事教学中,笔者让学生根据图片和故事上下文推断出 straw、stick、brick、house 等生词的意思。在《Snow White and the Seven Little Men》故事教学中,笔者引导学生通过上下文猜测 queen、mirror、magic、poisoned 等生词的词义。

5、在教学《PEP 小学英语》教材时,我们惊喜地发现,由于很多单词学生在学习童话故事的时候已经接触过了,再次学习这些单词时,学习难度降低了,学生的学习热情就更加高涨,人也显得更有自信。

6、童话故事,尤其是寓言故事,通常都会蕴含一个道理。利用英语经典童话故事,对学生渗透情感教育,让学生学习为人处事的道理,是我们课题的一个重要内容。在进行英语经典童话故事教学中,我们主要选择了寓言故事,特别是《伊索寓言》和《格林童话》中的名篇。并对这些故事进行改编,以适应学生的英语水平,降低学习难度,但我们一定会维持寓意的不变。这样,学生不仅可以在英语故事中学习英语知识,也获得做人的道理。
